Our Mission
To empower underserved kids by providing them access to extracurricular activities.
Research shows that participation in these activities gives kids a better chance to build their self-confidence, become more engaged in school, and become potential leaders.
What we know.
Numerous studies have found that income-based differences in extracurricular participation are on the rise, and these differences directly affect later outcomes in a kid’s life.
Youth sports and other extracurricular activities are a crucial platform for kids to develop character and important life skills, such as teamwork and perseverance.
Extracurricular activities are also a great way to help boost a child’s academic performance. Research shows that students who participate in activities outside of school often have higher levels of academic achievement.
How we will help.
Parents in low-income households often have to decide between buying essentials and paying for their child(ren) to participate in an extracurricular activity.
The Manns Horne Youth Foundation will step in to pay the fees to allow kids to participate in activities. We will provide funding to cover costs related to sports, dance, martial arts, music, and other activities.

Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth.
